Service Level Agreement
Last updated: 15 October 2026.
1. Who this applies to
This Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) applies to Enterprise subscriptions to the Finance Calendar API, operated by Search Ventures Pty Ltd (ACN 639 906 353) as trustee for the Ahlgren Trust (“we”, “us”). It forms part of the Terms of Service. Other plans have no availability commitment.
2. Commitment
The API at https://api.financecalendarapi.com will have a Monthly Availability of at least 99.9% in each calendar month (UTC).
3. How availability is measured
- A check requests
GET /v1/statusevery minute and expects a successful answer. - A Downtime Minute is a minute in a period that starts with the second failed check in a row and ends with the next successful check.
- Monthly Availability is the number of minutes in the month, less Downtime Minutes and excluded minutes (section 5), as a percentage of the minutes in the month less excluded minutes.
The results are published on our status page. Where our records and yours differ, we will look at the evidence you send in good faith.
4. Service credits
If Monthly Availability falls below the commitment, you are entitled to a credit against the fee for that month:
| Monthly Availability | Service credit |
|---|---|
| Below 99.9% | 10% of the month’s fee |
| Below 99.0% | 25% of the month’s fee |
For annual subscriptions, the month’s fee is one twelfth of the annual fee. Credits are applied to your next invoice, are not paid out in cash, and cannot be transferred. The total credit for a month cannot exceed 25% of that month’s fee.
5. Exclusions
Minutes are excluded from the calculation when the API is unavailable because of:
- scheduled maintenance announced on the status page at least 48 hours ahead, up to four hours a month
- your network, systems or code, or requests refused because they exceed your plan’s limits or breach the Fair Use Policy
- suspension of your account under the Terms of Service
- events outside our reasonable control, including a wide outage of our hosting provider or of the internet
6. How to claim
Claim through the contact form, choosing “SLA credit claim”, within 30 days of the end of the month concerned. Include your account email and the dates and times you were affected. We will confirm the credit, or explain why it does not apply, within 30 days.
7. Sole remedy
Service credits are your sole and exclusive remedy for unavailability of the API, except for rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
